Senigallia

The idyllic beach resort of Senigallia in Le Marche with its 13 km long sandy beach is ideal for dreaming and indulging. Many times in succession the town has been honoured for the cleanliness of the sea and its beaches. The old town in Senigallia is perfect for a relaxing stroll or a morning’s shopping. The town’s landmark is the imposing fortress Rocca Roveresca with its four round towers. The fortress was built as protection against pirates and Saracens during the Renaissance period and today houses a museum; it is also often used for cultural events.
